I oversee a team of four Showroom Advisors. Making sure all are up to date on training and new systems (ie.CAD, GDPR) and that our department is always in tip top condition ready for customers. We are trained to listen to customers in order to create their dream project for their home.
As my background was not in Showrooms when I started working for B&Q, I have learnt how to design projects and gained knowledge of a wide variety of products. Allowing me to know what the most popular stock is (value for money) and talk confidently about our products.
It was enjoyable and I had great support from both my Lifetime trainer(s) and my employers.
It was well structured and easy to form a routine.
I had ample support from my employer although it was difficult during busy periods.
The support I was given was absolutely amazing.
