I work within a sales team where we answer calls, build customer relationships, provide quotes and place orders whilst also meet with suppliers and help with any customer quieries.
I have gained a lot of product knowledge and gained confidence in speaking to customers and suppliers. I have also developed my organisation and time keeping skills.
It is very enjoyable, it teaches me more about my business and also gives me the chance to look at other areas and see how they link to my role.
It is very organised, calls are planned very much in advance and deadlines are given but are flexible depending on situation.
I am given all the time I need and all the resources required to complete this course. Any information I also need my amangers and colleagues are happy to help.
My training provider is accessible at all times, we had montthly catch ups, regualr group calls and any other questions I was able to contact her through email or google chat,
I am able to expand my knowledge of my business and explore other roles to understand how the business. I also feel more confident whilst learning which reflects in my work on a day to day basis.
I am part of the charity team and also attened the under 25s meetings on how to retain young people within the group.
