I work on the Prudential Liquidity Management desk where I deal with handling the Liquidity Coverage Ratio and the Wholesale Stress. We go and buy and sell products on the market to fund this, making sure they remain over the requirements everyday.
I have learnt many skills such as communication, taking responsibility, time management and many more that are necessary in any career.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme as I am always busy, learning new things and meeting new people. No day is the same but every day allows you an opportunity to grow.
We are on rotations which are 6 months long apart from the first one which is 9. We are the first cohort so there are some details to be ironed out but we are well informed of anything that may change or that is taking place in the future.
I receive so much support from my employer. I can go to anyone with any question and they will happily take time out of their day to help me.
We receive support from our training provider in the form of 6 weekly meetings. We are also able to contact our talent coach at any time or talk to our cohort manager who will be able to contact our talent coach for us.
I feel my qualification is helping me perform well as it teaches me about aspects of my role I may not learn on a day to day basis in the office. It allows me to broaden my understanding which may help when I move to a new role.
There are many activities to join in. We have many social events after work and I am part of the events team who organises them. There are many other groups to be a part of too depending on your interests.

It is a friendly environment to work in which has taught me lots that I will take with me throughout my career and it is a good starting place for anyone unsure of what their future holds as it allows you to meet lots of new people and learn many different roles.
Be yourself and let your personality show through. Make sure you are passionate and driven and you will be able to go far. Ask lots of questions!
