My role is a commercial motor fleet underwriter and I deal with writing cases for my business.
Loads of new skills relating to insurance as I was new to insurance as well as developing communication skills.
I am really enjoying the programme and see lots a value in it every day.
It is very well organised as I have multiple people to speak to with different expertise with a clear plan of progression laid out to me.
I receive lots of support from my manager, colleagues and mentor at my training provider and always feel like I can ask questions and get an answer.
I have regular meetings and courses provided to me which are CII related and apprenticeship related which really help.
It helps me loads with my role as it teaches me a lot of key insurance information about all classes which may not be covered just from my job.
I have attended volunteering work covered by RSA and also a networking event held by a broker.
