I am a technology engineer so I work with others on my team to create the technology solution that my team has decided on that the client would like to see the concept of so we can prove that we are worth pursuing a project with and spending their money on. So I’m basically a software engineer and I mostly code all day both front and back end.
Yes I have learnt lots of new skills such as web development and being able to make my own websites. Also I have developed my coding skills and applied them in real life scenarios. I have also developed skills in terminal and GitHub and git. I have also worked with virtual machines and learnt a lot of verbal communication skills.
I enjoy quite a bit since I have met so many new people and I have made quite a few friends as well along the way. It’s been quite useful in expanding my skills and opening me up to so many new opportunities that I would have never have been exposed to otherwise so it’s been great so far.
It is well structured and organized and I don’t think it is chaotic and it doesn’t feel like they don’t know what they are doing. Which is great because it gives me confidence in the learning and training that I’m undergoing is to the highest quality and standards.
I receive lots of support whether it’s something I’m stuck on or something I’m unsure about they are always supportive no matter what. Which gives me great confidence in my team and employer that they will support through my entire journey no matter the circumstances and they will do their best to accommodate for my needs.
They give me as much support as I need when working towards qualifications. If I’m stuck on a certain part of a qualification or I don’t understand something they are always willing to help and they will go out of their way to help even if they are busy which is great. That just goes to show how committed they are to supporting you through your journey.
I feel that the qualification helps me out a lot since I learn skills and knowledge related to my role that I might not learn otherwise if wasn’t for the qualification and I also broaden my network and I improve my communication skills which is quite helpful within my role. I also just get extra knowledge in areas that might come in handy later on.
Yes there are lots of extra curricular activities to get involved in. There are lots clubs and events and sports events. There’s so much I can’t even name them all. We have regular networking events so we can meet and talk to as many people as possible and expand and grow our network.
Yes
They are very supportive and they have an amazing environment to work in. The people there are the best and so helpful if you ever need any help they are always there for you no matter what. Also the job itself is really fun and enjoyable which who doesn’t love all of that. It’s truly amazing how good this company is.
Just give it your all and don’t be nervous there are great people there and don’t be afraid to ask for help and remember there’s no such thing as a stupid question. Also the more put into it the more you will get out of it and at the end of the day don’t forget to enjoy yourself.
