I am a team leader and morning duty manager responsible for safly opening the business, tills, safe counts, rota hours adjustments, deliveries, money banking and miney orders.I make sure restaurant is set uo to the brand stanndards before opening. I provide service over breakfast and lunch time, leading my team members
I did learn more company policies and documentation process while doing this training.I have learned to use them on my daily basics. I gained a lot of confidence at running team meatings, dealing with issues and guests.I feel more sure in the role than I was feeling before.
I really enjoy this program. The trainer is amazing and very helpful. He provides me with guidance and sends me very useful links that I can go trough while working on my blocks of knowledge. It's a great journey that lets you learn new skills and working on the parts you struggling with.
It is set up in blocks which concentrate your attention on the verg subject. So I learn separately about health and safety, deliveries, customers experience, leading a team meating, providing leaderahip for my collegues, participaiting in promotions.I have e-learning part, observation, I also have to provide evidence for each subject.
None really.I am learning on my own. If I have to go trough paperwork to find information, I am doing it on my own. Apart general manager who works on different shifts than myself, I have no one else to ask for guidance in the matter. I am able sometimes to have the videicalls during my shift.
I can always reach to my trainer Michael who is happy yo assist with any informatiins needed. He sends me a knowledge questions with an extra informations that are taking into account while answering them. If I missunderstood a question, he will explain it to me so.I can provide correct answer
I gained a lot of confidence at my job role to probide better service for my guests. But also to be able to help and train my collegues and new staff. I feel I know what I am doing, how am doing it and it makes my shift go smother.
No,there is nothing like that at my work place. It is down to the enviroment we work in.It is a constant service at hospitality. We work 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It's nearly impossible to organize things like that for our team, although that's sounds amazing.
