GCP Cloud Engineer working predominantly on Infrastructure Provisioning
I've learnt countless new skills through being being the apprenticeship. I've also developed existing skills around working with others.
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme, it's given me the skills needed to start a whole new career and I was well supported throughout.
With this being the first DevOps apprenticeship run at my company there were some bumps along the way but all-in-all well organised.
As much support as I needed was available to me throughout the programme from central teams and within my immediate team as well.
My training provider mentor was really supportive, whenever I had questions she was always great at replying quickly and helping me wherever needed.
If I didn't have my apprenticeship qualification I wouldn't be able to do my role, the learnings I've made throughout are what enable me to do my role.
There's a wealth of different networks and extra-curricular activities to get involved with. Networks, Guilds, events, learning and much more.

Be yourself! It's not so much about what you know but your attitude. If you value others opinions, are curious and want to learn then you'll go a long way.
