  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Day to day I will attend site inspections, meet with and call clients, respond to enquiries, write reports, prepare marketing materials such as a brochure, web listings, mail outs and PR.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed my Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills. I have also been developing my presentation and vocal skills by using the company training. I have learned how to analyze accounts.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love the programme I am on. The people I work with are amazing and I really enjoy waking up in the morning and look forward to going to work.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is very well structured. I do 4 days a week in the office, and one day studying for my degree. The degree is 4 years long, and then I will do my APC year 4 and 5 of the course.

  • My employer is excellent and providing me with as much support as I need.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We have an apprenticeship officer who is a phone call away and can assist with any issues I have.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The skills I am learning are relevant to what I do daily.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I regularly attend networking events. I am on the charity committee as well as the Young Professional committee. A few of us also go to the gym together over lunch.
