On an average day I assign tasks to colleagues, provide customer service, ensure the shop floor is stocked, and complete various admin tasks. At the end of the day I remove money from the tills and count it before placing it in a safe. Before leaving I write down tasks that should be done tomorrow morning.
Through this apprenticeship, I have learned more and better ways of how to interact with customers, as well as greatly improved my knowledge on merchandising, how I can affect the brand of my company, managing staff, and how to be more efficient with my time. This has been very helpful.
I've enjoyed this apprenticeship quite a lot. The materials provided have been engaging and have helped me with understanding the topics at hand and improving my knowledge on the matter. Interacting with my coach has also been a great experience and had helped gauge my progress throughout the apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship is divided into modules with each module focusing on a certain topic. In each module you'll find various tasks and activities, which are also separated into smaller subsections. Everything is well laid out and easy to navigate. If there are any issues, your coach is available to help.
My employer has been quite helpful. Throughout the apprenticeship I've received a lot of support and motivation. My manager has given me a lot of advice and helped with understanding certain topics, as well as accommodating meetings with my coach during working hours to help me progress through the apprenticeship.
Throughout the apprenticeship, my learning coach has been very helpful. Whenever I had trouble understanding a topic or need help with anything, my coach was available to help.
This apprenticeship has been very helpful for me in improving at all aspects of my role. I put more thought into what I do and have been taught how to be more effective at work, which includes better ways of identifying problems and addressing them at the right time with the right methods.
There are football matches, company parties, and training events available to staff throughout the year.
