Working within the digital team to ensure all products are on the website and support with the launch of new fulfilment centres and project work as a supply specialist.
Yes, I have learnt more about projects and being involved with cross functional meetings and engaging with stakeholders as well as technical skills such as Power BI.
I very much enjoy the programme as it has given me the opportunity to start learning again as well as improve my networking within my business as I speak to more people. Also I am learning new skills that will help me with my career.
My program uses an online portal which is really useful to track my progress as well as know when I am overdue, there are structured progress reviews and webinars to help keep it organised and on track.
My employer is a great support, I have a weekly meeting with my manager as well as the ability to work shadow different colleagues. I am given the time to do my work on my apprenticeships without too much pressure.
I have not had too much experience with the training provider as I am only few months in, but I have been given good and quick feedback to any work I have completed and they have always been helpful if I have any questions.
The qualification helps me to develop my skill set as I have a better understanding of how the business works as well as how this interacts with my daily job.
I do not get involved in any work extra curricular activities as I am hybrid working and based around 30 miles from the office.
Yes
There are great benefits for employees and they are a fair payer in a lot of roles. There is a strong sense of community and you feel like you are valued as an employee.
I would recommend they do the research on the role and understand what they can bring to it, as the responsibilities in some B&Q jobs differ from other companies.
