Teaching adults online about management leadership and a vast variety of other topics including licensing, food safety, mental health, digital skills, people management and education
yes - my resources continually improve, my understanding of finance has improved, I've developed my leadership skills, created a successful marketing campaign as well as managed a project for work, producing a variety of professional documents that were vital to the success.
It's the highlight of my week. I enjoy research and formal writing, as well as the creativity of producing the less formal assignments, like PowerPoints and posters. I've made friends and networked with other professionals, it's been just the best experience
Excellent - all the information is on one central platform, and has been from day 1. All resources can be looked back through, including the recordings of the sessions and we know which assessments are coming up so work and home can be planned around it. Plus, the course tutors and leader are always helpful and direct you to specific information.
The are fantastic, I've had 4 different managers within the timeframe, who have all been very supportive and allow time off the job to complete assessments and meetings, as well as time to research and focus on work.
They are brilliant, they ensure we're ready for assessments and are supportive and encouraging in all areas. They are knowledgeable about the standards and requirements and communicate this clearly. There is specialist and dedicated support available should I ever need it, feedback is encouraged and listened to.
I teach the same subjects at a lower level, so my own students get a better experience and learn more from me, I'm more of a critical thinker, evaluating and reflecting more
We have EDI groups of which I'm a member of 3, one has significantly changed policies for working families to make life easier and there are regular learning sessions on hot topics and speakers who do online webinars. They encourage us to be curious and inquisitive.
