  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Working within the Central Finance Teams to complete various. There are 8 different teams ranging from Banking to Invoice Processing, which allows me to experience both the Account Receivable and Accounts Payable aspects. At the moment I am In the Billings team and my day to day tasks are tenant recharges, PCA Certs etc.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My confidence has developed as well as My skills on Excel and using outlook and teams have also developed and I have learnt new skills regarding those platforms.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I definitely enjoy my programme, this apprenticeship gives me the best opportunity to explore and understand various roles within central Finance.

  • My programme is organised in regards to knowing the different teams I will venture into.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive support in regards to training and managing my time between work and learning my AAT qualification.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive one of the best supports from my training provider. Having weekly sessions and workshops has made my understanding of AAT a lot better, my teacher has set effective tasks to complete as well as going through practice papers has boosted my confidence in passing my exams.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think that knowing the various roles within each central finance team has helped me understand my qualification more and how I can use this within my work.

  • Yes, I have and will be continuing to play football with colleagues to socialise and volunteer and raise money for charity,
