  • My role as a duty manager includes managing my team, doing all HR work, delivering great customer service everyday.

  • Thanks to the apprenticeship I developed my existing skills as a duty manager but it also helped me learnt more about my role on how to deliver great customer service to the guest.

  • I really enjoyed the programme as it gave me the confident to manage my team.

  • The programme is well organised. I was able to study while working full time and managing my personal life.

  • I received a lot of support from my deputy hotel manager. She went above and beyond from helping me with training during my shifts to help me with my final assessment.

  • My provider was really helpful. He gave me the confident that I needed and explained everything step by step to make sure I reach my qualifications.

  • Whitbread is on of the best company that I have work for. It gives all his employees opportunities to grow inside the company. It does matter the background you come from. The only thing that matter is your will to grow in the company and whitbread gives you all their support. From paying for your apprenticeship to pay you when you are actually studying.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Whitbread?
  • Go for the apprenticeship. It will give you the confident in your role and help you grow in the hospitality industry.
