My role as an apprentice varies, from college weeks to being in the workshop making things. I am always doing something new.
I have developed manual skills, as well as academic skills from my college work, which I use in my day to day work.
My programme is very enjoyable, as the work is varied and fun, and my colleagues are very friendly. The work hours are also great, making it more enjoyable.
My programme has a set structure for what we will be doing each week, meaning it is very organised and this helps me prepare for my work.
I receive regular feedback and reviews from my employer, which helps me improve and stay on track with my work.
I receive regular support from my provider, who ensures my work is at a good standard and that I am on time with handing in all my work.
I feel that my apprenticeship will help massively as it relevant to being in the business, and mirrors the type of work I will be doing day to day in the future.
There is a leisure centre with a gym and several clubs, such as rugby and cross-country, which anyone can get involved in and is very accessible.
