  • As a payroll administrator my day to day duties involves, salary calculations, processing weekly wages, dealing with employee queries around taxation and pay.

  • Absolutely! Since the apprenticeship I have developed my IT skills , my problem solving skills and have learned how to Efficiently communicate with employees and how to prioritise.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It is a good program, I love it and enabled me to learn so many useful things. It can be challenging at times but this is the beauty of the programme.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is well organised. My personal opinion is that we should have started with difficult things first and them leave the communication and personal skills towards the end as it would have give more time on revision.

  • Maximum support , I could not have asked for more.

  • The support received is good. There was a hiccup with my previous tutor, but now I am happy with the support I get .

  • The knowledge gather through the course is now enables me to deliver high quality services.

  • We have social meeting once a month with the payroll and HR department doing different activities.

  • Yes

  • It is a company focused on employees needs and wellbeing , it supports its employees and have all the facilities that you need to perform your tasks.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bakkavor?
  • For me was a chance that I took and I am glad I did. I could not find a better team and I finally have a balanced work -life. Advise: apply for a programme and you would be pleasant surprised.
