There are loads of development opportunities outside my day-to-day role which I enjoy. It is also quite tailored to meet the needs of each individual and what they hope to get out of the programme.
There has been ample progress in the programme structure, but also still enough flexibility to meet the individuals requests. For example, the teams one joins and the projects one takes on.
I receive a good level of support and am aware that, should I ever need more, I can ask ask. There are necessary channels in place to facilitate this.
Lecturers are always contactable via email during the week. There are also other systems to communicate with the training provider to ensure we are staying on track with the qualification.
There are socials which are regularly emailed around and sports events (particularly in the warmer months).

There is a ton of advice out there, but what I found most useful was: Be yourself!
