1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

i guide clients from there first encounter with christie’s all the way through until post sale where we ensure they get there items delivered anywhere globally ensuring excellent client service the whole way.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have learnt a lot of marketing knowledge especially in the art world , as well as more in excel which makes me more efficient. my business judgment and understanding has grown immensely and is continuing to do so everyday whilst working at christie’s.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i couldn’t put a number to it , my cohort made me feel comfortable from the get go , my team has amazing chemistry and the environment at christies is always changing making it fun, and the support is never ending

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

we get time allocated to ensure we’re on top of our apprentership work with a unlimited amount of resources and help from both our apprenticeship and our job, the job tasks intertwine with apprentership work so you get the benefit of both worlds

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

quite a lot , the HR team always are there to support any queries regardless of the question , and your own team ensure you are able to have time during work to catch up or do apprentership work and take on extra work in other ways arts of the company.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

my training provider is always just a text away , and is happy to arrange weekly or monthly meetings to ensure i’m on top of my work and ensure it’s done to a good standard , as well as help with catching up on work anytime.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

all the training is linked to my job and helps me develop my skills in the job as well as allows me to bring in new ideas to help my team and company

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there’s so many networking events through my work between the company as well as externally, always a new event coming out which anyone is able to partake in.

9a. Would you recommend Christie's to a friend?

Yes

9b. Why?

It’s not a question of why. i’ve loved every minute from james bond 60th anniversary event to the most random auction sales that are record breaking hitting $1.6 BILLION. every day is new and fun and the support is unlimited with amazing vibes

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Christie's?

go in with open mind to learn loads , meet incredible people and network out. be bold and don’t feel like there’s any wrong questions , i contained the least possible amount of knowledge in the art world but it’s something i’ve developed for day dot.
