I am currently involved in an ALE (Advanced Learning Environment) which lasts 13 weeks, after this I am on to advanced training where I am learning different types of software and how to apply the knowledge on project. The days are full of learning and are interesting, there's a lot more to come though.
We have done training sprints involving introductions to the following; Python, SQL, Data Modelling, Java, Emotional Intelligence, BISQL, Project Management to name a few.
I really enjoy my work here, learning new things every day and expanding my knowledge, pushing myself to become better at what will be a great job. There are great people here and they really look after you.
I feel that Capgemini value their employees a lot, they treat us well and are offering an amazing apprenticeship to us.
I feel it is very well organised, we are told what we are going to do in advance (most of the time) and the learning is not overloaded, we are given time to ease ourselves in to a new, possibly more tricky subject.
We receive a lot of support as and when we need it, from help with work to suggestions/complaints about accommodation, they fight our corner.
We receive a lot of support from our employer, I feel like I can be open about my experience here.
Very well. We get paid expenses for any commuting we have to do and for food along with giving us a healthy salary.
Yes there are always opportunities to receive extra credit etc.
Yes
It is in my opinion the best apprenticeship in IT in the UK. It is such a good opportunity.
Be honest, and willing to learn.
