I have gained a variation in knowledge, skills and experience that are specific to this role. I have gained an understanding of SQL, Python, Orange and R programming languages whilst further developing my excel skills. I have also developed skills by cementing the basic knowledge and principles of data analysis tools and concepts.
I have enriched every minute of my programme. The Co-op have been extremely supportive throughout my time of my apprenticeship. They are very flexible and approachable, I feel confident to ask up for help and have a healthy relationship with my manager. The apprenticeship team also provide amazing support throughout the course.
I have found that the programme has been extremely organised. I have always been made aware of where I am up to and what I need to do. I have monthly catch-ups with my tutor from the apprenticeship provider to ensure that we are both happy with the progress being made. I can also message my tutor if I have any other questions. I also have regular catch ups with my manager to keep them updated about my progress too.
The co-op is extremely supportive of my apprenticeship. I get one day a week dedicated to just my apprenticeship work, however my manager is very understanding and if I require more time they also grant this. The apprenticeship team also provide great support and get set regular updates from them and are approachable to contact.
I have regular catch ups with my learning and development coach to track and monitor progress. We also email it I have any questions and they come back also immediately. The learning platform that the apprenticeship provider have provided is extremely helpful and has lots of information on it, I can also message my tutor through this too.
I have been able to pick up and delegate pieces of work that I wouldn’t have been able to do. I have developed and gained knowledge with new programming languages, we are also looking at implementing new programming languages and different ways to populate work using these, so it has provided a new business requirement that I am able to manage.
Yes definitely. There is a festival team where you can go and work at the big festivals in the pop up shops. There is also a gym which have regular classes which I like to attend. The work social life is good and there are always food outings and nights out.
Yes
The Co-op is an amazing employer to work for. The environment is a really nice, safe space to be a part of. The people are all lovely and extremely approachable. I have not had one bad experience since working at the co-op. I am confident that I want to stay with this employer.
I would give advice to do your research about the co-op as a whole and the industry that you are applying to go into. The website has some great articles that I would advise reading. I would also connect with as many people as possible, LinkedIn is a great place for this, people will be happy to talk to you!
