Essentially I look after the world of absence for the business. This involves working closely with managers, business partners and the data team in order to get all absence related processes working as effectively as possible. I regularly have to run reports to identifying which employees have triggered either an absence discussion letter or disciplinary, which I arrange will the managers and HR advisors.
Absolutely! I have developed my stakeholder management skills and also time management, which have allowed me to develop more as a people professional. The knowledge obtained from my apprenticeship has allowed for me to understand and become involved within more senior conversations relating to business processed.
The course is fabulous, gaining knowledge and skills as well as gaining experience within areas which I wouldn't normally is fantastic and the programme has allowed this to happen. The support from both the course tutors and my business cannot be better.
Yes, the course modules are evenly spread out so that work doesn't become too overwhelming.
Everything I request for and more. The company has allowed me to take the time I need to complete my modules and also to be exposed with information that helped me to complete my modules
All the support I require. If I have any issues or questions regarding the course, they respond quickly.
Greatly. I have recently won an Apprentice of the Year Award so that's one of many things that show that the work I am producing is excellent and couldn't have done it without the knowledge from my course.
I have attended talks and training sessions with CIPD and ACAS to develop my knowledge further.
Yes
The business is great for pushing people to come out of their comfort zone and help to achieve their career dream. The support and encouragement that is given to develop knowledge and skills is great.
If you want to develop and be the best version of you, do it!
