I’ve completed a ‘traditional’ degree in sport science and this current degree apprenticeship I’ve found far more valuable
I feel my employer could take more of an interest in what I am learning and how to utilise this within the business and the skills I’ve learnt.
ARU have been superb and supported me in pursuing opportunities to assist my personal development outside of my course across the faculty.
Currently I feel what I am learning would be better used in a different role. However, I have still benefited in my current role.
There are no opportunities within the workplace.
No
There are very limited progressional opportunities and I have been prevented from applying for roles previously. I am grateful to Co-op for providing this opportunity, however they have expressed no desire to utilise the skills I’ve gained more widely within the organisation.
Network with others who currently work at Co-op. Utilise opportunities such as this degree apprenticeship to help yourself.
