  • As AO is a retailler, my role at AO is to manage manufacturer accounts (e.g. Apple, Samsung etc) and I plan their yearly marketing budgets as well as plan campaigns for AO and collaborative campaigns with the brands

  • I've learnt lots of skills: - Budgeting and finance management - Stakeholder management - Marketing strategies - Brand values and promotion

  • I enjoy my job and my apprenticeship allows me to enhance my role with knowledge, skill and experience

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is structured clearly until the end of the programme. Finishing the programme is a bit vague as there is no clear end dates and the steps in ending the course isn't exact

  • Near to none

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I get a lot of support from the provider. The course provides a "skill coach" that helps you with any issues you have and she is always great at responding and helpful

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It definitely helps. As my role is planning campaigns it is key to use this knowledge when looking at objectives and strategies

  • Sometimes we do games in the office but nothing outside of office hours

  • AO good eye for recruitment, everyone I work with is great and definitely make the job
