Learning and using CAD software to design parts of a vehicle or accommodate others designs into one bigger system or whole car
CAD skills were non-existent before the apprenticeship, JLR have allowed my training and development. Understanding of basic engineering principles and skills have massively developed so far and will continue to do so.
very enjoyable. a range of activities, jobs roles and experiences to be had which no other company or job could offer.
great structure. well thought out approach to learning and development as a professional and young adult
managers are great at providing support and making everyone feel like they can ask questions or for help. mentors are also provided to help managers throughout our apprentice journey
great support and offer lots of feedback through lectures, seminars and online resources
as of yet many engineering concepts have been needed throughout work however some aspects of training are also not needed for me specifically however i can appreciate how it will be relevant to others.
