Currently on 1 of 8 placements, currently I act as a Buyer raising RfQ's and PO's. I will fortnightly go off site in order to visit a supplier.
I have learnt a lot of new skills, not only real world business skills but also the engineering side too and understanding the products you are buying.
I enjoy my programme, initially there were some problems but these were sorted early on (IT Issues, issues specifically on the University's Side), These are mentioned and said to be fixed now
It wasn't initially very well organised however as the programme has developed it has become structured better and organised better, the communication channels are now a lot clearer than they were at the beginning of the programme.
There is things that people can access, currently i wouldn't say i receive a lot of support from my employer. however i do know where i can access this support
The University have been very helpful when it comes to responding to questions however, when it comes to things that should of been sent to everyone they lack in that area, specifically the programmes objectives weren't sent out completed until a few months into the programme
I would say that the qualification provides negligible help and that you learn the theory from the training provider and you learn how to apply that theory and see the problems with the theory.
Yes.
Yes
The company have been good to me so far and they have a great reputation in the local area
Be yourself and apply yourself to why you'd be a benefit
