HR Shared Services Assistant Manager for Operations. Ensuring the operations of the helpdesk, completion of yearly goals and strategic leadership of my senior team down to front-line advisors. Executing the 'People' function of our team - Talent, Engagement, DEI, Recognition.
I've developed my leadership skills throughout my apprenticeship, taking on a much bigger team after completion. I learned 'big picture' thinking and how external landscapes shapes what we do as a business.

I think it has had some impact day to day. I think it helped the most with understanding how the HR function works and the impact HR has on the business. As well as a focus on operating within employment law.
