My role is ensuring the safety and welfare of crew and customers, dealing with money, scheduling.
I have learnt new skills for running shifts, how to ensure the welfare of crew and customers
I enjoy the learning process, the tutors are friendly and are patient when explaining something
My programme is very well structured, it has different sections to learn on what days and gives me the chance to ask for help if and when needed.
The support I receive from my employer is great, I am given days weekly to focus solely on my apprenticeship. If I struggle they are available to help me
the support from my training provider has been great, during the course of my apprenticeship my original tutor changed job roles, but the transition from my old to new tutor went very smoothly
I feel this helps me very well, It has given me a chance to grow within my role and learn new management styles and best ways to deal with anything that may arise.
At my store, the main extra-curricular activity would be that we do a lot of charity work for Ronald McDonalds House Charity ( RMHC ), we go to the RMHC house and clean, we provide hampers for the kitchens so that they dont run out of supplies. I feel we as a business could do more.
Yes
Mcdonalds is a great place to work, the schedule is flexible along with the hours worked. Our training programme is fantastic and McDonalds has great opportunities for promotions.
the advice I would give to someone applying to McDonalds is that they treat everyone as individuals but as a family, we are very team oriented.
