I complete vat returns/ confirmation statements/ bank reconciliations/ account submissions/. I work 2 days in the office and 3 days home based. I have college on Wednesdays and on the other weekdays I work as an account apprentice doing different roles such as within Iris or on Fa and companies house
I have developed skills of communication and team work as I have been working with my team for several months and communicating with them has been an important part of my apprenticeships and job role. Additionally I have improved on my time management skills as they are important when completing work to deadlines.
I really do enjoy my programme and I love the fact that we work both in the office as well as at home. I also love my class/ teachers and tutors from Paragon ad they have been very kind and helpful for me with my workload or any queues that I need help with
My programme is structured well and I am given multiple organisation sessions per month with my tutors and managers in order to keep on top of my work load which I find really helpful and useful. We also have weekly one on one catch up sessions which are helpful with my progress
I receive a good amount of support from my employer because we have weekly catch up cals that are one one with my manager and I also get monthly catch up calls with my tutor and they are very helpful sessions in my opinion as I am able to o

Yes in my work we have Christmas parties/ roadshow events but we don’t have sport teams or many social activities as a team. We also don’t really have any professional networking events as I haven’t met anyone from our wider team outside of who works within the Warrington office
Yes
I would recommend this company to someone else as they have been very supportive and helpful with my apprenticeship and I have found it to be a smooth journey through both my education and work due to my team and managers as well as personal tutors and class teachers/ classes.
I would give advice to manage your time well and to stay on top of your work load otherwise you will fall behind. I would also advise to work as hard as you can during your college hours so that the education pressure is less in comparison to if you stay on top of studying
