I have learnt lots of new skills during my apprenticeship including how to manage events and developing an event from start to finish. Also I have built my confidence and developed skills to use different softwares and how to invoice.
I really enjoyed my apprenticeship and I got to experience and work on some amazing events. I also have had an amazing start in the Media industry and it has helped me to make so many connections.
My programme was well structured with 4 days working and a study day once a week. This would good to have a day to focus on my assignments and ensure all course work was completed.
I received lots of support from my manager. I would ask lots of questions and for help if I struggled with anything. Also I had my own mentor and coach to help me over the past year. This really helped my development.
I received lots of support from my training provider and Robin who was my tutor and skills coach would always respond to emails immediately if i had any questions or needed any help.
I found the workshops beneficial and they do relate to the work I am doing on the job. I feel like I am learnt lots from the workshops
There are many different clubs you can join at Channel 4. We also have quite alot of internal socials like summer/Christmas parties and parties to celebrate different occasion's at C4.
Yes
Channel 4 has been a really enjoyable working environment. I love the culture and the ethos at work. Channel 4 also really respects how their staff feel and listen to different opinions to ensure everyone is happy within the work place. I feel very proud to work for C4.
I would say just be yourself. Be confident. I would also say it is really important to understand what Channel 4 stands for as a business and our remit.
