My day to day job role as a complaint case handler involves using multiple systems in order to get the right outcome for the customer and the bank. I also have to speak to the customer on severall ocasions in order to obtain more information from them and not cause any possible detriment
The main skills that i have learnt and developed are time management, organisational, and communication skills as these have become apparent in my day to day job role
My programme has good and bad days as i try to learn the skills needed to carry out my job role effectively while also be a good advocate of Barclays, but in the main i do enjoy my programme
I do feel valued by Barclays as regular meetings occur in which i talk about my progress and achievements with my Team Manager.
The general structure of my programme is organised as i have meetings once a month and am informed well before in order to allow me to prepare
I receive good support from my training provider when in the monhtly meetings, however i think more support may be needed on a week by week basis
I receive good support from my employer. I am notified of any impending meetings as well as given time within work to complete any outstanding tasks and documents
My salary does meet my costs of day to life at the present time, despite not being eligable for the company bonus scheme
there are many opportuniteies to get involved with activities outside of work such as charity and fund raising events in multiple locations
Yes
A great opportunity to start a career with a well known company. The only limitations are that which you impose upon youself
Be yourself, make sure you believe in Barclays values and be proffesional but not to the point where you come accross as having no personlaity
