I create a variety of content, as well as generate leads, for the LMP subsidaries; LMP Education, LMP Action & Inspire ATA. I have the ability to work with an amazing team of interesting individuals who are always willing to help when needed, and share their own experience with myself to assist.
I have learned a variety of skills! - To use a variety of software; Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics, SmartAssessor, and so much more... - To work to an effective timescale. Being adaptive is key to marketing, and this was flushed upon in the best way possible.
I have really enjoyed it so far! My manager, Emma, has made my life in the office very introductive and entertaining, while still putting me into the deep end. My team have also been extremely welcoming, helping me wherever possible, and generally being a group of friendly faces to help with my career.
There are a few points of confusion at the start, but ever since those minor hiccups, it has been structured ever since. My tutor, Lucas, helps me understand what is required of an apprentice while still pushing me to get that distinction to help me in my own career path.
A vast amount! Our safeguarding lead, Anita, regularly provides Monday Hot Topics and gives a thorough selection of safeguarding resources through meetings and emails on a usual basis. As said above, my team has always been welcoming with any queries I may have and generally my experience with support has been simple.
As I am more of an internal apprentice, my life has been much easier communicating with those assisting with my apprentice. Being on the inside has also helped me understand how apprenticeships work in a much more structured manner than perhaps otherwise, and it has forced me to learn where perhaps I would not.
Since I am taking an apprenticeship which directly coincides with my role, of course it helps me perform better! Without my qualification I would have not been able to get into this career path, learn about the necessary software, and generally assisting with all other elements of marketing to ensure growth.
There are a few, such as quarterly away days and coffee mornings with the directors. However, I have not particularly partook with such. It does seem like sometimes it forces itself a bit too much to occur when one like myself may not be as interested in events like that.
Yes
It is an extremely open, friendly and helpful organisation that ensures their workers have a well-fitting time as well as easy understanding of how to ensure they can work effectively. Especially with marketing, and since the company is still growing, it has never been a better time to join LMP Group!
Research, research, research. Apprenticeships and courses are the backbone of most of the group, and education enveloping the entire organisation, so it is necessary to at least have a fundamental understanding of the workflow to ensure success in LMP. Make sure you are open to being remote as well, and generally have an open mind to social activities if at all possible.
