My job role is quite simple, is serving customers with a smile, whilst giving them a pleasant experience to the best of my ability. My job role can change depending on what time i am scheduled, for example, a morning shift i will be helping set the store up, whilst night time shifts are more cleaning and closing the store.
I feel like this apprenticeship course has greatly enhanced my knowledge in the subject, and taught me more about hygiene and safety in the work place. Additionally, i have also learned a great deal more about the British values and what they really in whilst working in the work environment.
The apprenticeship programme that is supported by lifetime training and aptem is amazing, the support I receive over my time has been great, and i have been reassured that there during my time, there will always be someone to reach out to, which has made my experience with them that much more better.
My programme that i am on is very well structured. At the start of my apprenticeship, both of my trainers sat me down and explained to me the main structure of the apprenticeship, explaining how long it would take, and when we wold be moving on to different subjects, etc,

This qualification is really going, and is, helping with my learning and growth within my job role. Everything that i am learning will help push me towards the next step in my job role with is amazing. I am constantly learning new things, which is very interesting, and can be used in daily life.
There’s is always something new going on in my workplace. We hold crew do events yearly, where we all get together and celebrate, similar to a party, we hold charity events too, to raise money for RMHC, and we even do sports events occasionally that all crew can take part in.

McDonald’s is a very friendly environment for anyone to work in. It’s very common for you to find people with very similar interests as you, and you can make lifelong friends. The hours are flexible ands having time off is very accessible. Anyone is welcome and everyone is treated equally.
One main tip i would say, is to not be afraid to ask any questions. As friendly and welcoming as working here is, it can be very daunting and overwhelming to some and not knowing what to do can be scary. There is always that will. Be there for you and there is nothing to be afraid of.
