Helping people and businesses with their money, advising customers about their money, doing cash withdrawals, refunds, payment chases, account reconciliations, reporting on ledgers, communicating with customers to establish invoice issues and payment dates. You are required to be thorough and accurate in the role and have attention to detail regarding applying payments and establishing any issues with payments. My position falls within account receivable. The key role of someone who works in Accounts Receivable is to ensure the company receives payments for goods and services and records these transactions accordingly. This include securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving any discrepancies. Th the overall goal for the team to insure the company continues to get the money in from the services we provide and accurately document and apply these payments with the lowest past due percentages possible.
