Deals associate, I work in corporate finance and help companies sell their businesses
I have learnt how to financially model transactions and effectively communicate with clients
I enjoy it a lot, its very fast paced and I enjoy working hand in hand with clients
The programme is not organised at all. It was changed half way through from a rotational based program to a home team one where we stay within a business unit the whole time
I receive a lot of support, they always look after my wellbeing and check that I am ok
Very little, I have found it more effective to teach myself the curriculum
Due to me being in Deals and not audit, I feel it does not help much as there are little accounting based tasks
I get involved in a lot of professional networking events with private equity firms which I thoroughly enjoy
Yes
It is a very friendly place with lots of opportunities to learn and progress your career
Be yourself, they are looking for personalities not robots!
