Yes - when starting, I did not know anything about tax. The exams have been useful for providing an initial base and this has been built on by on the job training.
I really enjoy the programme and the varied nature of the work and people I work with. I have a broader range of skills so I now know where I want to focus my career. I have also really enjoyed building my network within the firm.
The general structure is arranged well and I know what is upcoming over the whole length of the programme. There can be last minute changes to study times etc.
We receive lots of support from the employer through having a buddy and career coach. I have found if I ask anyone for advice they always have the time to have a chat.
We receive sufficient time off to work through what is required
All modules have been extremely relevant to the role.
There are a range of socials, which have helped me integrate into the team such as meals and table tennis tournaments
