It has been great fun joining the graduate scheme in PwC UK. I have met life-time friends here and have had so much fun with my peers and teams. The team-work culture inspires me and help me develop my skills with great support and caring.
I have developed my communication skills and leadership skills by working on multiple engagements in different areas. I have been given more and more challenging tasks as I grow in the firm and that inspires me to improve myself.
I enjoy this programme a lot as the programme has attracted many young graduates as me who are still exploring new things in life and in career. I have made lots of friends here who are passionate and trustworthy.
My programme consists of two parts: work and study. It requires us to improve our time management skills so that we can find a balance between these two parts of our lives. It is well structured because I have got opportunity to work which improves my understanding of study.
I have received support from multiple parties from my employer, including my career coach, my buddy, my teams and my peers.
I have received great support from Kaplan tutors. However, it also requires a lot of self-learning where I had to spend great time in studying on my own time.
The qualification has helped me understand the work content more as it covers a wide range of areas, including audit, assurance, financial reporting, banking, taxation, law etc.
There are lots of social activities in the firm! There are a lot of opportunities, networking events and other team socials for you to get to know your colleagues better.
