I am currently working under the Cloud group, where my responsibilities involve authoring documents and developing and reviewing technical cloud solutions. I will also be providing technical support to our clients, although my role is not predominantly client-facing.
During the first 3 months of this apprenticeship, I was placed in an Accelerated Learning Environment. These were classroom sessions with other apprentices, where we were bought up to speed on database, programming, web development and networking technologies. While we all studied very similar material, a lot of the topics covered depended on the role we planned on going into.
I enjoyed this apprenticeship excessively.
I feel very valued because the program managers took great interest in my opinion and feedback on how the course has affected me.
While there were a few issues when we first joined, it didn't take long before everyone had an accurate picture of what the 2 year program involved.
The study material from QA was somewhat inadequate. However, we always had the support of top trainers who bought valuable real-life experience to the lessons in the classroom
Our program managers always took an interest in us as people, not just as employees. I felt I could approach them for any work-related/personal-life issues during my time here.
The salary package is very good when compared to what other people my age are putting up with.

Yes
Because I feel this program will not only develop my career in IT and business, but also develop me as a person since I'm always meeting new people from all sorts of backgrounds.
Speak to as many people as you can, make friends and make enemies but never lose sight of what you really want from the course.
