  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I very much enjoy the work side of my programme. Being able to work on some very exciting and interesting clients is a great perk of the job. Also having a great set of colleges has mad the programme very enjoyable and sometimes make it feel less like work and more like seeing some mates.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well organised and well put together as far as the structure of the content goes. When it comes to more administrate things there has been some issues, things like booking of exams and taking time out due to external circumstances. But this is a very specific case in my case and for most it is smoother.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider does help when it comes to learning the content for the exams. Giving us booklets and online material to go through and help us to pass the exam. As well as coaches that can help with questions went they do come up and help you understand the content more.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It helps me a lot when it comes to my role. I came from a Maths background and did not have much idea of accounting. But the qualification helps you to get to grips with the job and what type of things you are going to see while doing the role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are plenty of stuff outside of working hours to attend and get involved in. We have plenty of committees like a sport, social and charity committee that set up things for us to and blow off some steam. Things like 5 a side football to lazer tag there is plenty to do.

  • 9a. Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a great place to work. Its a very competitive job to get so if you can I would take the opportunity with two hand and enjoy it. There is also a lot of perks to the job and working for PwC things like working away in places that I personally would never thought I'd have a chance to see let alone work with.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • I would start by saying you don't need an accounting background, it does help but its not something you'll be worse of if you haven't done it. I would also make sure you apply early as it looks better on you and helps your chances of getting the role.
