  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • For my role at Mcdonalds I work with all of the new starters/trainees to provide them with the correct knowlage and training that they will need to thurther their career at mcdonalds. It is my job to support the managers with any tasks that I can and make sure that all proceedures are followed.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have lernt more skills while working at my store, I have learnt more about customer satisfaction and how to deal with any complaints or problems that the customers may have while visiting out store, I have alos learnt more about leadership and how to controll a team to achive one goal.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my program that I am currently on as it engages me with learning more whilst at my workplace. It also helps me to gain more skills as it teatches me about the finance part of the company and how to lead a team to the best of my ability.

  • My program is well organised and structured as everyone in the program all communicate to each other so we all know where we are with eachother and if I fall behind on any of my work my peers are there to support me with any help if I need it.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I recieve alot of support from my employer as if I am to fall behind in any of my work they will help me to the best of their ability and whill offer extra paid time in the office for me to try and catch up on my work if needed.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I recive alot of support from my training provider as I can contact them at any point if I need their help with somthing and they have meetings with me often to see how I am doing with the work in person and to make sure that I am oaky.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that this qualification will help me to preform better in my role at mcdonalds as it gives me more knowlage on how to motivate my team and all the diffrent leadership styles that I could use to make sure that my team are all worki g together to achive one goal.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are some diffrent activities that you can get involved in at work one of them being the saftey circle that we have which have managers crew trainers and crew all i them so we can get the input from everyone this is to make sure that everyone feels like they can come to this group about any problems that they may have in the store.

  • Yes

  • I would reccomend working at mcdonalds to any of my friends as I feel that it is a really friendky and welcoming plave to work at and I feel that they pay that we offer is really good for evryone that works at mcdonalds as it is avouve the national minimum wage.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?
  • The advice that I would give to someone that is applying to mcdonalds is to apply with confidence as we welcome you with open arms and will not judge you in any way and will welcome you into the mcdonalds family and will make sure that you are feeling ok.
