  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many skills since starting with Savills. My communication and interacting with people are much better and I am able to work independently as well as working in groups and I am very well at it now. My role involves admin work and also practical work and this is a good balance.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am really enjoying my experience because it gives you a chance to learn on the job as well as learning of the job such as having training days and this involves learning around the property industry. Everyone in Savills are very friendly and really helpful to work with, which is always great.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is structured perfectly as I have a study day once a week to allow me to complete my assignments. I have training days with my trainer once a month and this is around different topics. I work four days a week which is on the job and I get involved in many things.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have a great team that support me as well as my trainer supporting me with anything I need further help with. My colleagues are helpful and if I have any questions there always there to help. I have my manager who I have weekly one to one with and this allows me to see where I am progressing and this allows me to structure my week.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My trainer is always helpful and If I needed further assistant with any of my assignments he is always happy to help. During training sessions he always try's to make them interesting by doing practical activities, which is always fun. Prepares us very well by having one to one's and also having mock test as we are coming to our end point assessment.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel quite clued up and am confident with certain things that I probably haven't learnt while being on the job such as Legislation. Breaks down topics which are around the property industry and this is always better when its broken down and explained clearly to us. I am confident in my knowledge much more from when I first started and the training session have 100% had a huge impact within my role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have a weekly football session with Savills employees which is a good balance, It will always be good to have more sports with colleagues and maybe having team outings after work as I love sports and an out going person. We also have a lot of charity work we do and this involves doing things such as marathon runs.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I would 100% recommend Savills to a friend as it provides great training and it is a huge opportunity to kick start your career. It's great how well structured it is in terms of learning of the job work as well as having great people and working on the job.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
  • I would tell people to ask questions and no question is a stupid one. Stay focused when applying for the role because like I said this is a great opportunity you will not want to miss out on. Be yourself and talk to as many people as possible because communication is key.
