As an apprentice in the central finance team I have the opportunity to work within each team. I am currently working in the invoice processing team, in this team one of my roles is to reject any incorrect invoices that we receive from suppliers.
I have certainly improved my communication skills due to working within many teams which has given me the opportunity to meet most people in the office.
I have been doing my apprenticeship with Savills for six months now and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I am constantly learning through my on and off the job training and so I am always developing my knowledge of working in finance.
My programme is very well structured. I have four days on the job working and one day off the job for training, which consists of online lectures, videos and tasks to complete.
Savills have been very supportive during my time with them. I feel confident asking questions about any queries I have (no matter how stupid they may seem) as I know that everyone is more than happy to help.
Train Together have also been very supportive during my apprenticeship. We have online sessions with a tutor every two weeks where I am able to express any concern that I may have.
My training help me develop my knowledge of my role which helps me to develop my understanding of the tasks I am assigned at work.
Savills have many extra-curricular activities, there are sports teams to join and many social and networking events to join in.
Yes
Savills is a great workplace which has many opportunities to develop and further your career.
I would advise that you show your interest in the role you are applying for and an eagerness to learn new things.
