I am a Parts Sales Team leader, working within a call centre setting, i have a varied job role from taking customer enquiries for vehicle parts, to making outgoing sales calls on special offer parts and workshop consumables, to adminstration and purchase ledger duties for the region and keeping up and helping with the regions KPI's .
I have developed my confidence a lot since starting the programe and my ability to communicate better with others in order to achieve the best from them/ myself and the best outcome overall. I have taken on additional responsibilities to ensure that they are well managed to kept up to date.
I have really enjoyed my program, it's the perfect life/learn/work balance. it's given me the ability to invest and better myself within my career as well as expanding my knowledge, i will also at the end of it have a qualification to support the hard work that i have put into it.
The program looks to be very well structured, it gives you enough time to set aside to do what you need without making a massive influence on your existing life. lessons and very well organized and allow you the time you need to be able to take in and complete the necessary work.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, both on a colleague and a management level. i was prompted by my manager to take the leap and go for this apprenticeship and they've supported me through it, allowing me the time and support i need in order to complete.
I have direct contact both by telephone and email with my training provider, so not just during the scheduled lessons / meet days i am able to contact them for assistance or advice on anything i may be struggling on or may need help with and they are very quick to reply.
I feel like the qualification has allowed me to become a better supervisor/ team leader and mentor to those around me, I have gained a lot of confidence since starting which reflects in my day to day. it has taught me how to get the best from people while also handling my responsibilities and new projects a lot better.
There is lots of extra-curricular activities to get involved in, we have monthy dress down days to raise money for charity, bake sales for mcmillians, charity days and fundraisers for current events happening in the world. ancy dress days, monthly 'day in the life' competitions for staff to win prizes, christmas countdown calander to win prizes, walk to head office to south africa (virtually) 3 peaks challenges, team lunches etc.

I have worked for Motus for coming up to 9 years, they have always invested in my future, i started off as an administration apprentice and in the last 9 years have been able to progress and hold a number of roles developing my knowledge to where i am now.
my one piece of advice to anyone successful with joining motus, would be to get involved and show your willingness, Motus Commercials invest heavily in there staff to succeed further within their careers, so if you would like to see yourself higher in the ranks, with Motus commercials backing you, you will go far
