I am currently in the development team. My day to day includes, assisting in development appraisals, formatting marketing particulars and site searches for clients.
I have enhanced my excel skills. I have also developed my report writing skills when formatting appraisal and proposal reports.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme. I am able to apply the skills that I have learnt within my role to my apprenticeship masters.
Very organised and structured. I have one day study release and able to communicate with my manager on if my workload is balanced with my university work.
I receive a lot of support . They provide us with structured APC programmes tailored to our qualification during our study break period. They allocate you with an apprenticeship officer who meets with yourself and manager every 12 weeks to go through how you are getting on.
A lot - they provide us with training days which are suited to our APC qualification and prepare us accordingly.
It is going well. I am able to apply what I have learnt at university into my day to day role in the workplace.
Yes, there are. Especially networking events which get email broadcasted through to everyone.
Yes
They have a great graduate scheme programme which allows you to be either fixed or rotate through some different teams. There is great support throughout and after the scheme, which gives you a good direction into what team you are best suited for and eventually would like to qualify into.
Whether rotating or in a fixed team, take the opportunity to ask questions on anything you either do not understand or anything you would like to be more knowledgeable in.
