I am responsible for the production and upkeep of reports for a range of clients. I will also complete some apprenticeship work each day in order to keep on top of it.
Yes. I have learnt Power BI and developed my SQL and Excel skills as well as my communication skills too
I love almost all of it, occasionally a stubborn error will annoy me but 90% of the time I enjoy my time at work
Very, I always know what I need to do to stay on target and if I have any questions I can email my Learning Mentor at Firebrand and they will get back to me with the answers
Quite a bit. My line manager is always able to help, and my colleagues are always willing to assist or answer any questions I may have too
Plenty. I have a monthly meeting with my learning mentor where we discuss any problems I am having and I can email him at any time with other questions I have about my apprenticeship work
Quite a bit, it helps to fill in the gaps in my knowledge and to build the steps to success a lot quicker than just being thrown in the deep end so to speak.
There are, since starting 6 months ago I have gone to multiple networking events, either with my team or with the other apprentices in the Ipswich office
Yes
Because it is a great company to work for. The culture is very supportive and inclusive and I don't regret choosing to work here one bit
Sell yourself as best you can. The openings here are quite competitive, especially apprenticeships, because it is such a good company to work for with a competitive salary and benefits.
