I am an audit and assurance assistant. I work on audits by completing testing on various financial statement areas, planning audits and finalising audits. All of which included constant communication with clients.
Communication skills have developed. Analytical skills. Excel skills
I enjoy the environment and the team. I don’t enjoy audit very much as it is tedious and monotonous
Very well organised.
Plenty of time for study and revision and they are very understanding that studies are very important.
As much support as required. They are on hand to contact if needed
The exams help me perform better. The apprenticeship requirements outside of exams are completely and utterly pointless and a waste of time

Development is great at mazars. Overtime is limited for junior members of staff. Culture is great.
Be yourself in interviews and assessment days. Try to come across as a sociable person as your personality will be assessed more than your competency as skills can be taught on the job but changing someone’s persona isn’t possible.
