Day to day could include completing file reviews, working papers, running over financial statemenrs. A very hands on experience with everything, widening my knowledge of business and accounting itself.
Definitely, I understand the more than just the basics when it comes to my role, I have been abke to pick up knowledge from overhearing conversations or being a part of them myself.
I enjoy my programme thoroughly, the people I work with make the business day pleasant as well as providing lots of opportunities to get involved socially outside of the work day.
The programme gives us time in between study and exams to ensure we are prepared. In addition to this there are drop in calls which allow us to raise any queries about our course which may not be answered by the pathway provided.
When we need time to get ahead of revision, work are accomodating to ensure this is available, dedicated study days are provided so that we may take time off ahead of exams which doesn't use up annual leave.
Every day support is available if needed. We may use the training providers facility during weekend if we want a more quiet study area away from distractions at home
I feel as though the training given by the provider is more based at getting us through the exams, I find that working day to day helps me perform at a greater effect in my role rather than studying.
Absolutely, every Monday after work there is a 5 a-side football you can attend. At the end of the work wee there is an opportunity to go out with some of your colleagues and enjoy a pint.
Yes
I've enjoyed my first half a year working here very much. It is a very friendly environment and definitely worth working here.
Make sure to be honest, the people are more interest in you having a good ethic rather than your knowledge.
