My role entails working closely with my team, being involved in meetings and calls, speaking with clients and customers, holding viewings for properties, sending articulated emails, assisting the team with various tasks, for example, dealing with enquiries from people wanting to view properties.
I have definitely developed on existing skills that I have obtained. An example of this is my communication. I believe that this has massively improved, due to the fact I use a range of communication on a day-to-day basis. Another skill I believe I have improved is time management.
I really enjoy my role at Savills because it's not just subjected to one specific, repetitive environment, which is what I really love about it. Everyone in the company is so wholesome and welcoming and everyone is treated with the same respect and manner.
I find that this program is very well structured and organised. Everything was already planned and in motion as soon as we joined and if anything needed rescheduling, it would be handled instantly and effectively. Our training provider is also really supportive and reliable which makes the academical side of the program really good.
The HR team and my manager are incredible. They are immensely supportive and I feel like I can talk to them about anything. They are so easy to talk to and also very welcoming and benevolent.
Normally, if we are having any difficulties understanding what we need to do with our assignments and tasks, our training provider (who is already really busy) wouldn't even hesitate to organise a teams call to make sure that we fully understand what we need to do. Our training provider is really helpful and ensures that our wellbeing as well as anything else is all well.
Because we cover most of the criteria that is needed for this role, it is so clear that what we have learnt with our training provider has completely helped with the day-to-day role. I have been at the company for a year now, so I believe I can say that it has helped.
Absolutely. There's an abundance of extra-curricular activities that Savills provide. People from the company normally get together to participate in sports and activities either for charity or for fun. We also have a few networking events. Also recently helped a small part of the community with cooking healthy meals, which was refreshing.
Yes
Because what I've learnt from being here is that this company is for absolutely anyone and everyone no matter what and there's equal opportunities for everyone.
Firstly, I would say to just be yourself. This is the only way you can really make an impression on your interviewers and stand out from anyone else. Secondly, believe in yourself. There are going to be a lot of other applicants going for the same role as you, it's very daunting, but once you believe you can do something, you'll do it. And lastly, don't be nervous! The interviewers are very friendly and welcoming, which will put you at ease and make the process smoother.
