Customer care assistance - My role is to take calls for the assisted travel department, I help customers or retail agents arrange assistance at the airport / hotel to give them the best holiday experience. this can be help with steps, help with seating, medical equipment they may need to take on board.
Through out the course I have learnt more skills in supporting others, providing coaching and feedback with skills on the best way how to. I have also develop skills on customer service, as well as learning new skills for management experience. I have undertaken more responsibilities - such as carrying out QMs for a TM and watching a team
I am enjoying the programs, the set days in college have been great for having an interactive experience with the other people on the course - sharing what we have learnt and experienced so far. My tutor is fantastic and provides great support when needed, which makes the work enjoyable and understandable.
The layout of the course has been well organised - Set college days were knew far in advance, meetings can be arranged according to our own schedules and availability with plenty of notice for when to expect a meeting. Clearly set out in original meeting what is expected of us and when by
We have received support from our employer in terms of varying our roles so that we can complete the required tasks, we have been given time off the calls in order to complete our course work within a timely manner, and given the time required to attend college days when needed
We have received a lot of support from the college tutor - they have assisted with arranging the required Maths or english qualifications where they were needed. The training provider has been flexible with moving around dates if needed, my tutor is always on hand to answer any questions and really supports us in achieving completion of the course
The qualification has helping me in supporting others - both in the role as an agent and in the role of a support TM. the course has expanded my knowledge of some of the processes and the reasons behind then, we has helped me deliver better customer service as I understand the reasons why.

TUI is a large, worldwide brand that is well recognised as a great provider of enjoyable holidays, the work is good and pays well. There are a lot of perks to working at TUI with recognition schemes and holiday rewards. Additionally TUI have lots for progression or changes of roles
I would advise that they apply if they are a happy outgoing person who enjoys interacting with customers to help be the makers of happy and to really help the customers holiday be the best experience.
