My daily tasks would include, greeting and welcoming customers, help take payments, answer phones and help with customer enquiries, putting some deals on our window and shadowing my colleagues
I have learnt new systems, learnt about new places and excursions and have also developed my people skills to adapt to a situation where I would have to change my whole body language, facial expressions and tone of voice.
I love my job, I love learning new things and skills, meeting new people and seeing their personalities come out, endless benefits too.
The programme is really organised, you get assisgned work which is always in sections, very easy to manage and not too overwhelming.
I have lots of support either by my colleagues, my mentor, and there is plenty of other links that i can go on if i need additional support.
My training provider has a lot of support and i always know i can go to them if something is bothering me or i am feeling a little overwhelmed with anything.
Its given me plenty of resources on where to find the information and without me realising i am picking things up and telling customers what i have learnt.
Once a month, we will have a well-being Friday, which includes a morning tea or coffee at one of the local coffee shops, every now and then one colleague will bring food or buy things for us all to share on our breaks.
Yes
Such an amazing opporutinity to be working here, as to endless support of colleagues, always learning on the job, meeting new people and faces, and endless benefits of earning points to stay in a hotels abroad
Always reach out for support if you need it, do not be afraid to ask, there is a lot to learn but it is really worth taking the risk and once you knew the basics, everything else falls into place
