I am an auditor- I am involved in the audits of clients from various industries who see annual turnovers in excess of £200 million
Yes- communication due to the extent of client facing work in my role. Presentation skills from opportunities I have had to speak in front of small audiences. Excel skills have greatly increased. Professional skepticism and data analysis has improved due to these being fundamental skills in my role.
Greatly- I am always busy, learning new skills that are invaluable in the professional workplace and I am working towards becoming an ACA chartered accountant.
Very- dates for accounting modules are set months in advance and client booking sometimes a year in advance
A lot, I have a dedicated line manager for any queries I may have, plus all colleagues are willing to assist with any questions I may have
A lot, BPP university have consistent contact with myself in case I have any questions, plus their learning portal is very good in terms of allowing myself to study through the content on my own
Very much so- every time I learn a new accounting module, I see the implications on my work in terms of my increased level of understanding
Social events are organised by a dedicated social committee. Networking events also take place- for example when there will be new joiners to the firm in the future

It’s a great place to begin your professional career- being surrounded and working amongst like minded professionals and studying to become qualified in a supportive environment. The level of responsibility with audit assignments given from the offset is also invaluable work experience not many people can say they have.
