I have built on my knowledge through doing my optional units. I was given an opportunity to develop my skills through talking to my trainer and learn some new skills using the workshops that Paragon provide as short online workshops. By talking to my trainer and doing my optional units it has built my confidence to the skills that I have learnt within my job role
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole programme from my interaction with the trainer and all the encouragement that she gave me through out the programme, to gaining new skills from the online workshops and being able to use the knowledge that I already had to my optional units and being able to build new knowledge from what I researched to complete my units.
The programme was very well organised and structured - from the interaction with my trainer, the support given by my trainer, being able to navigate and use the course website effectively, being able to follow my progress via the course website and being able to attend the online workshops that were easy to follow and use.
I received good support from my employer together with encouragement to be able to work towards completing the course. My employer spoke with me regularly to see how i was doing and to see if I needed any support. I was able to plan in my own time weekly to work towards completing my course.
My trainer was excellent regards providing me with support towards completing my qualification. We had weekly online meetings to start with then worked towards having them every 2/3 weeks , which provided me with the support and encouragement that I needed to be able to complete my qualification, even when I doubted myself at times of my abilities to complete it.
I feel that working towards completing my qualification has helped me build on my confidence, made me reflect on what I can achieve if I put my mind to it and how maybe be able do things differently or in a better way , which has helped me perform better within my job role.
